Learning Objectives: By the end of this class the student should:

Know how to make their first batch of mead

Be familiar with the differences between Mead, Melomels, Cysers, and Methyglyns

Understand the importance and value of racking for clarity and finishing.

Recognize the importance and value of boiling/cooking your honey-mixture

Know when to/ not to add their yeast
