Class Description: This class is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of herb use in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. 
Learning Objectives - By the end of this class, students will know:
1.  What an herb is.
2.  Names and published works of selected herbalists
3.  How to obtain herbs.
4.  Equipment needed to make herb preparations.
5.  Ways to preserve and store herbs.
6.  Herb Safety
7.  Recipes for herbal preparations.
