Elizabethan Ladies Dress 101 – FAS06A02

Level of Content: Beginner- this for people new to the SCA or new to the period.
Estimated Length of Class: 1 hour
Course Description: This class will help students learn about the evolution of fashion in this period, as well as what constitutes the proper layers, fabrics , colors and accessories in creating and authentic Elizabethan look.
Learning Objectives: By the end of this class, students should be able to:
1. Understand all the layers worn by an Elizabethan Lady
2. Be comfortable in making appropriate fabric and color choices
3. Have resources for helping them with pattern making for these garments.
4. A comfort level to make a first attempt at a period Elizabethan Garment
