Double Weave/Double Faced Tablet (Card) Weaving

Course Description: The double weave technique is used to create pictures, words, symbols and designs. This class teaches the students how to do basic 2F-2B Two (2) pack method of double weave. Threading for the tablet weaving, including reading a warping diagram and warping the tablets will be taught as well as basics on how to graph a piece of double faced tablet weaving. It also includes a brief history of Tablet Weaving.
Learning Objectives: By the end of this class, students should be able to:
Demonstrate/Understand the basics of double weave tablet threading..
Read and follow a tablet weaving warping diagram.
Demonstrate/Understand two (2) pack weaving technique.
Graph and weave a simple double weave piece using the two pack technique
