HER06A01 Making a “Stamp”

Course Description: This class teaches the students how to construct a basic “stamp” to use for Heraldic display on clothing, pavilions, etc It also includes a brief history of heraldic display in period and a list of materials needed for stamp creation.

Learning Objectives: By the end of this class, students should be able to:

1. Understand the use of heraldic symbols.

2. Identify the process for stamp creation.

3. Begin construction of a “heraldic” stamp.
